San Francisco hosted Fleet Week recently, the annual celebration of ships and naval aviation. It was the one day of the year nobody should try and drive to the waterfront of San Francisco.
A day or two later, a small sign of a change in the weather. We've had a traditional Indian Summer. The weather has been clear and warm away from the foggy beaches, but here's a set of clouds that came in from the Pacific. That's something we don't see unless there's more coming.
It's back. The work of art in Walnut Creek, Fountainhead, has been returned. I've written about it a couple of times, first to report on it and then to report its removal. I was concerned the city had pulled the new sculpture because it was a risky piece of art.
Of course, this could be a second version of the sculpture. It's natural to assume it's the original, but this could be Fountainhead 2.0, for all we know.
